Dr. Irina Kogan graduated from Long Island University with distinction in Neurobiology, then received her M.D. degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. Working at the Upstate University Hospital as a fellow in Clinical Neurophysiology she gained extensive experience in electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG). She spent an additional year completing her fellowship in Epilepsy and Intra-Operative Monitoring at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Kogan holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at Weill Cornel Medical College. Currently, she is an Attending Physician at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Kogan practices general neurology, with a subspecialty in Clinical Neurophysiology. Her particular interests are epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, and intra-operative monitoring.
